Testimonials
The best bit of being a wedding celebrant is meeting couples and being a part of their awesome wedding day! The second best bit of my job is reading their feedback…
Love letters from previous couples…

"Rachael reflected our story back to us infused with love, warmth, and joy."
“Rachael was the perfect opening act to our festival wedding. In a day of effervescent colours and vigorous sounds Rachael took us on a deeply personal heartfelt journey through our relationship. Rachael reflected our story back to us in a new way infused with love, warmth, and joy.
From the first online chat to the day itself Rachael took a clear interest in us as both individuals and as a couple. She constructed the perfect ceremony that told our story, the highs and not so highs, the unusual, the unexpected and the gloriously mundane. She helped design a ceremony that was uniquely us, complete with a ring warming ceremony, an emotional memorial toast, a hilarious dishonourable mention and a belting rendition of the Beatles.
Rachael met with us over cake to refine our ceremony, listening to our increasingly outlandish suggestions, and professionally steered us on the right path! Receiving a copy of the script beforehand was vital in settling any nerves – though the personalised vows that Rachael helped us to write remained a secret until the ceremony.
From moment one Rachael exceeded expectations. We would unreservedly recommend her as a humanist celebrant for your ceremony.”

"Rachael is simply the best!"
“Rachael is simply the best!
From the moment we met her, we were blown away by how friendly and professional she was.
She truly got to know us, and wrote and delivered such a meaningful, heartfelt and personalised ceremony, our wedding guests couldn’t believe she hadn’t known us for years!
Highly, highly recommended!
Thank you Rachael!”

"Rachael was just amazing!"
“Rachael was just amazing! We wanted our ceremony to reflect our love for each other, but we didn't want it too serious and wanted everyone to see how much fun we have together. Rachael totally got what we wanted and delivered an amazing ceremony with lots of laughs as well as some very special memories.
We couldn't have even dreamt of anything better. Thank you so much, we would recommend 1000000% to anyone thinking of tailoring their ceremony to share their personalities and memories.”

"Rachael really cares about her craft"
Rachael was the celebrant at our wedding in York in September 2022. It was the polar opposite of a copy and paste registrar-led ceremony - Rachael took the time to truly get to know us as a couple and crafted a bespoke ceremony which felt personal, unique, and a genuine reflection of our personalities. One of our guests told me that our ceremony made her more emotional than her own wedding had!
It's clear that Rachael really cares about her craft, and I couldn't recommend her highly enough.”

"More than a celebrant for us"
“Rachael has been more than a celebrant for us. She was approachable and professional from the start. The list of questions she sent to get to know us were very cleverly written and thought provoking that they actually helped us to start writing our vows, which she later on helped to 'smooth out'.
Finally, Rachael managed to summarise all of this into an incredibly moving ceremony with equal amounts of tears and laughter.”
